Open Rehearsal and Q&A

The Performing Arts Center at Cerritos College is proud to host Yamaha Artist Tina Guo. Tina and her new band will be rehearsing for an upcoming performance in our auditorium and you are invited for an exclusive preview of their upcoming performance at Wacken Open Air - The biggest Metal Festival in the World. Following the 1-hour set, Tina and her band will be doing a live 30-minute Q&A, offering a real behind-the-scenes look at the rehearsal process and answering your questions!

Tina is a Grammy and BRIT Female Artist of the Year Nominee known for her genre-fluidity as a virtuoso cellist, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, composer, and entrepreneur. She has been featured in countless soundtracks for Films, TV, and Games, including Inception, Sherlock Holmes, Iron Man 2, Dune, Dune 2, Gran Turismo, Top Gun: Maverick, Call of Duty Black Ops II, III, and IV, League of Legends, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and many more. She co-composed the main theme for Wonder Woman with long-time friend Hans Zimmer.

General Admission: $25 - Open seating outside of the VIP section, first come, first served. 

VIP Seating $50 - Assigned seating in the front rows, center of the Auditorium. Each VIP Ticket includes an Autographed CD from Tina and priority during the Q&A segment. 

Cerritos College Students (General Admission): FREE with Cerritos College ID - Select a Green General Admission seat and use coupon code: CC student. You will receive one General Admission ticket upon presentation of your Cerritos College Student ID. One General Admission ticket, for one Student ID.

How to get to the Performing Arts Center at Cerritos College

Set Navigation to 11051 166th Street, Cerritos, CA, 90703. Follow signs to the Performing arts Center at the North end of Lot 10.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING:

Park in Lot 10 located off of 166th St. (parking enforced at all times with valid college digital permit or $3 daily digital permit). Once you arrive at Cerritos College for the event, you may pay for your digital daily special event permit by scanning one of the QR codes located in the Lot 10 or pay for parking prior to arriving by clicking the link below:

Children under 5 years old are not permitted.

General admission tickets will be available up to an hour after the performance begins at the general admission ticket price. No refunds

Theatre Rules

  1. Food and Drinks are prohibited in the auditorium (water is OK). 
  2. No balloons are allowed in the building.
  3. The following items are not allowed in the auditorium: Flowers of any kind, backpacks, large bags or purses
  4. Late comers will be seated at an appropriated time by theatre staff. 
  5. No video recording or photography is allowed unless otherwise stated.
  6. There is no standing in the auditorium, All guests must be seated during the performance.
  7. If you need special accommodations of any kind, please contact the theatre prior to the date of your performance so that the appropriate steps can be taken to meet your request. Requests can be sent to [email protected]
  8. Alcohol is strictly forbidden anywhere on the campus of Cerritos College. 
  9. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any guest.
